A good stopover on a road trip

Liked: It is a large hotel in a country town - probably 70s or 80s - and in more or less original condition. The downstairs bar restaurant is popular with the locals and provided a good lunch, dinner and drinks (there's not much else around). It has ample free parking (except when all the locals are there). The staff (owners?) were very helpful and hardworking. Very good value for money.

Disliked: Some of the information on the booking site is incorrect. They do have a restaurant. They do serve coffee and snacks for breakfast.

It was excellent on the whole apart from some minor issues which didn’t effect my 1 night stay in anyway

Liked: Location and town were perfect. I was there for visiting a local place of interest. Easy to find and super close to town with bars and restaurants

Disliked: The greeting on arrival. Wasn’t rude but wasn’t welcoming either I’m afraid. No hot water for the sink but was for shower/bath and ironically the bidet. 🤌🏽

  Haunted

  Liked: Price and location

Disliked: Nobody at reception, has to call twice to a Spanish phone number. Restaurant was closed, reason given "the waiter is on holidays". Asked for a double bed but got 2 singles while the hotel was almost empty. No coffee or breakfast in the morning. All in all a compleet disaster.
