  Liked: Dinner was very good, maybe a little expensive. The building is beautiful and well preserved

  Disliked: Parking isn't allowed in the village but there is a free park place 200 m away

  An amazing experience

  Liked: Our stay at Tres Coronas was perfect! We only had one night to enjoy in Santo Domingo de Silos but the room, the environment, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home, (even though we know very little Spanish.) The building and decor were amazing, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and the window overlooking the plaza was such an amazing surprise! Walking around Santo Domingo de Silos, day or night, is so special. We didn’t have much time, but we did enjoy morning mass, touring the monastery and museum, and hiking La Yecla.

  Disliked: Rooms overlooking square are noisy until about 3:30 even on a weekday

  Charming and historic hotel right in the main square. Breakfast somewhat disappointing

  Liked: This is a charming old fashioned hotel and the location in the town square could not be beaten.

  Disliked: Breakfast was quite problematic. We were told that we could either have milk on our cereal or a cup of coffee -- but it wasn't possible to have both. On requesting a second cup of coffee, the waitress had to check since only one cup of coffee was included. After paying 300€ for our room we felt this was not the correct approach.

  Liked: A lovely hotel where you get what you can expect in a small rural monastic village. The building, like the whole place oozes history. Don't come here to expect modern land Scandic design rooms! You are on the village square where life happens. Brilliant.

  Disliked: Only downside is they are limited in what they can do with airco in buildings like these, so they installed loud mobile units you can't really run at night, but at least they have it, so be happy.
