  Liked: Casa Agapito Marazuela is a short distance from the centre of Segovia. The property is thoughtfully maintained in a style that reflects its history and huge cultural significance to Spain. The host met us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for the start of our stay, right down to fresh bread, butter, milk, tea etc. Attention to detail was evident throughout the property. It was immaculately clean, the beds were super comfortable and it was quiet at night, despite being on a main road. The outer metal gate to the property provides security; however the lock is apt to expand in strong sunshine and may be difficult to open.

  Wonderful stay in a historic home, in the shadow of Segovia castle

  Liked: Lovely period home with large rooms. Location is great for drivers and walkers. Private, gated parking. Host was very friendly but only spoke Spanish. Host was very helpful and responsive. If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like you are staying in an authentic historic place, this is great.
