  Strong smells of mould & disinfectant caused allergic reactions. We found alternative accommodation

  Liked: Nothing good to report about the hotel, but only the parking facilities.

  Disliked: Upon entering the reception area, we were confronted by a strong smell of hot grease and cooking fumes emanating from the cafeteria on the ground floor, adjacent to reception. Our documents were scanned into the hotel system, which is something that is forbidden by current legislation and punishable by fines. The document contains unnecessary information (such as the photograph, signature or name of the parent" We had booked two rooms for two days. On opening the door to the first room, we were immediately overwhelmed by a powerful smell of disinfectant and cleaning products and the strong chemical odour triggered a coughing reaction to a member of our party. Although the room appeared superficially tidy, the beds and furniture were old, worn and shabby. The soft furnishings also fell short of the impression created by the photographs displayed on the hotel’s Booking.com profile. The second room, located one floor above, presented a different but equally serious problem. It had an overpowering smell of mould and dampness. Although we appreciated the Manager's offer of alternative rooms, the conditions we had encountered had already caused significant distress. Rather than expressing concern or offering an apology for the circumstances we had experienced, the manager dismissed our concerns on two separate occasions and stated that we had made his job easier with our refusal.

  Liked: Very nice and pet friendly hotel with parking. They were welcoming to our well behaved dog. Great location from which to explore Segovia.

  Disliked: It allows dogs in rooms at euro 10 per dog per night. Doesn’t allow them in the cafe nor restaurant.
