Exceptional
A lovely apartment in a beautiful city
Liked: It was so easy to use the code to access the property. Location superb. The accommodation was very spacious, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the roof terrace

Disliked: The apartment was by the front door and quite noisy with the door banging. Pillows were uncomfortable. Hot water ran out on one of the mornings.

Disliked: The soundproofing was poor, and we could hear the other guests staying in the apartment above us. The pool was a bit dirty
Enjoyable stay as always and fantastic staff
Liked: Great location. Ten mins to city centre. Fantastic, helpful staff. Good facilities in the apartment and well equipped. There is a lift if required too. Each guest has an individual door code to the property which is the same as the apartment code so it's a safe place to stay. There are also cameras on each floor. The apartments are managed by the Hotel Madrid next door and there is 24/7 cover there.
Disliked: The apartment is looking a bit tired. Some things were held together with sellotape - honestly. The TV remote, the wallpaper in the bathroom. It was clean but a couple of things - there is mould in the shower which is not that bad that some bleach and a brush couldn't easily remove it. It would make things look so much better and cared for too. Also, the dining table is a marble slab on a frame. There is a rim around the table as it rests on the stand and this rim is full of stale crumbs and debris. I have stayed here a few times over the years now in the same apartment and these things were the same then. This is the first time I have mentioned it though and clearly not bad enough for me not to return which I will. Hopefully, the management will address these issues now and keep up maintenance of what is really a very nice and spacious apartment.
