  Practical, basic but clean (bed ok), very noisy

  Liked: Room was very basic but clean, bed was surprisingly comfortable.

  Disliked: Located in a small side street in the center of Madrid, which is good for walking around but it was EXTREMELY noise - both from the street (the small street is like an echo chamber) and you could hear your neighbours. Mine thought it was fun to have a loud belching / burbing contest with himself for a good hour... Terribly sound proofing. The owner is not the nicest person in the world... we had a misunderstanding which then become a "spat" over the parking (i questioned the 6 euros price increase over the price available online and he got offended), but in the end it worked out wonderfully as I found free parking around the corner.:) The spat was less significant than the unprofessionalism of the owner.

  Liked: Helpful staff. Clean and good to have a fridge although the bed was bit on the hard side. Great location. I would recommend this hostel and good coffee right across the street!

  Keep up the good work

  Liked: It was no breakfast. I wish it was some coffee to offer at least? You need to go out for coffee and wait until they open? The location is excellent

  Clean and comfortable room, fantastic staff

  Liked: The room was located in a building which is quite central to downtown, with most of the attractions reachable on foot within 15-20mins and downtown in about 5 mins. The highlight for me at this stay was the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. I met three different staff members manning the reception and one of the cleaning staff, and all of them were great. The room itself was comfortable with a private bathroom. Well-sized, and the bed was also quite comfortable. I had a great stay.
