Clean hotel on the whole. Just a few minutes on foot to the Cathedral and Alcazar and lots of Cafe's and restaurants

Liked: Location- was amazing Property was clean and well maintained. There is a lift so carting luggage is a breeze. Front desk is manned 24/7 but not like a concierge. Just a form of security which is good in a way. Shared some street pictures on which the hotel is located and the interior of the entry hallway.

Disliked: No tea or coffee machines. Cafés, etc., are on the street but don't open till late, so its impossible to get a cupav in the am. No grocery stores near by. Basic hotel, no frills attached. There was a stench in the bathroom and the sink would fill up and not drain. Complained twice but nothing was done. Gets noisy at the front of the hotel as there is a popular bar just outside the entrance. We got spared as our room was to the back and it was very silent. They could keep coffee machines and pay a lil more attention to issues raised by guests. Its a perfect location but just a few more steps could make the experience amazing!

    Good value

Liked: You simply couldn't better the location. On arrival l was worried it would be too noisy as there is a bar next door but it wasn't a problem at all and what little there was added to the atmosphere. I booked a single room but was upgraded to a double which was nice. Although very basic, it was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was great and even had a bath which was appreciated after a day walking round the city. For what l paid l got value for money and would stay again. However, NOT in this room. See below

Disliked: When l booked, the facilities stated there was an elevator. Which there was, and it was working. However, my room (130) wasn't serviced by it. After exiting on the first floor, l had about 20 stairs to climb and the top steps had no handrail. See photos. Had l known this l wouldn't have booked here. I asked for an alternative room but none were available. As an elderly lady with dodgy knees this really impacted my stay. I accepted the room as it had been paid for and l wouldn't have known where else to go. I would advise you check this before booking if you have mobility issues. The rooms would benefit from having a small fridge and kettle

A solid option for a solo traveller

Liked: The location was perfect, so close to the alcazar and cathedral. It was basic and on the smaller side but that is what they advertised. The hotel was clean and well kept. As a solo traveller I felt very safe in the room and around the area.

Disliked: You have to return your key to reception every time you go out. While the reception is 24/7 so this doesn't really affect your ability to come and go it is a little disconcerting.

Liked: The location. Within walking distance to the historic centre. The man at checkin was very helpful and organised a taxi to take us to the airport at 3.30am
