Liked: Hotel Posada del Lucero is an absolutely amazing hotel, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The location is perfect, with all the must-see sights within easy walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The hotel itself is steeped in history, with lovely, subtle nods to its heritage throughout, giving it a real sense of character and charm. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and beautifully maintained, and breakfast was a real treat, with so much choice and fabulous coffee to start the day. But the real cherry on the cake is the staff. From the waiting staff and housekeepers to the reception team, every single person we encountered was friendly, attentive and genuinely keen to make our stay special. Their warmth and attention to detail really made all the difference. A special shout-out to Pedro and Flora, who went above and beyond to make my stay extra special as I was celebrating my 60th birthday. Their kindness and thoughtfulness made the occasion even more memorable, and I can’t thank them enough. This hotel has everything: a fantastic location, beautiful historic character, wonderful rooms, an excellent breakfast and, most importantly, exceptional people who make you feel truly welcome.
