  Nicely located apartment but needs some new towels and fixes for the dishwasher and bathrooms door

  Liked: Located close to the main metro line at gran plaza station it was very easy to reach all the main town attractions. There’s also many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Check in was easy, and the apartment has heaps of space.

  Disliked: When we arrived there was random washing hanging up on the drying rack, all of the towels and hand towels provided had makeup marks on them (the hand towels massively so). The pots and pans also were not cleaned well and had oil left in them so had to be cleaned before use. Perhaps related, the dishwasher was actually broken even though it is listed on the features. We found this out after buying dishwashing tablets which we couldn’t use. The bathroom is fairly visible to the rest of the room and the glass sliding door has horizontal sections that have no misting so you can see into the room. Worse than that even with the door centrally placed it is not big enough for the opening so you can see the toilet and the shower through the corner of the door. Not an issue for us but if you had a guest round I wouldn’t recommend doing a poo. Also the sliding door is extremely hard to open and needs some maintenance. Also the toaster is hidden away and a camping style flat one. All fairly manageable but annoying to deal with and disappointing.

  We were able to accept the situation

  Liked: The apartment has a balcony. 👍

  Disliked: The toilet and shower are separated from the living area only by a sliding glass door. This is not confusing unless you are traveling with a boyfriend/husband or a very good friend. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️ The apartment has poor soundproofing. 🫤

  Liked: Location is great right on Gran Plaza well connected by public transit to all parts of city.

  Disliked: Room is not well maintained at all. Curtain rod is hanging by central bracket and can fall anytime on kids or yourself. Bed sheets seemed very old style. Washroom had smell. TV cupboard was broken from back. Building is quite old and though there is elevator, you need to take stairs first to reach elevator. But the worst thing was attitude of owner. On pointing out few issues, to my shock owner said 'you're here to enjoy or point out small issues, tell me what you need exactly?' Curtain issue was not resolved during my stay as well and owner just ignored it when I informed.

  Nice place & host, basics provided

  Liked: The property is very clean, looks exactly like in the pictures. Enough place to store your clothes for several days + storage in the bathroom. I appreciate they had a hairdryer and an iron. Very detailed instructions how to find the place and how to collect the keys - which was super easy. Super nice and responsive host.

  Disliked: They really need to change the entrance lock to the apartment. It’s so difficult to open or close the door! There were some basics missing: - kitchen towel - expand the limited kitchen equipment (there are only 4 forks, 4 knives etc. and no teaspoons) - leave some sugar available for the guests - provide separately some hand towels in addition to the limited number of bath towels provided Nice to have that could be added: - change the towels to some that are from most absorbent fabrics - add a coffee maker - add a lamp on the nightstand - add a full length mirror - provide more toillet paper - no one wants going hunting for toillet paper during their vacation
