  Lovely apartment and location, but poor soundproofing ruined our sleep

  Liked: We really enjoyed our stay in Seville. The building itself was beautiful and had lots of character, and the location was excellent for exploring the city. We also really appreciated the little touches in the apartment, such as the complimentary biscuits and coffee, which made us feel welcome. The owner was incredibly helpful, and everyone we communicated with was friendly and accommodating.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, there were a few aspects of our stay that let the apartment down. Our biggest issue was the lack of soundproofing, despite the property being advertised as soundproof. This was simply not the case. We could hear people entering and leaving the building, as well as almost every movement from the apartment above us. Even normal activities, such as footsteps or putting a glass down, could be heard clearly. It wasn’t that the other guests were being particularly loud; the building simply seemed to have very poor sound insulation. One of the doors in our apartment was also made of frosted glass, which offered very little protection from noise in the communal areas. Unfortunately, this had a significant impact on our stay. We were woken up repeatedly throughout the night and often managed only four to five hours of sleep. After spending long days exploring Seville, this was particularly frustrating and undoubtedly the biggest disappointment of our stay. We also felt that the cleanliness and general maintenance of the apartment could be improved. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with noticeable mould, a loose towel holder that appeared to be coming away from the wall, and a chipped mirror. Overall, it felt quite tired and in need of some attention. It’s a shame because the building itself is lovely, the location is excellent, and the owner and everyone we dealt with were genuinely fantastic. However, the constant noise and lack of sleep really affected our overall experience. Ultimately, the biggest disappointment was that the apartment was advertised as soundproof when, in our experience, it was anything but.

  Great vibe, lovely decorated and can only recommend

  Liked: Amazing apartment in (almost) the centre of Sevilla, the host was very hospitable and responsive and the accomadation has a really good vibe to it. High ceilings and all the ammenities you need, especially if you’re with your plus one i can only recommend.

  Disliked: Had AC issues, would not go down below 25C even though I notified the staff to check. Wrong WiFi password was given but then the signal was weak in a bedroom, but was good in the living room. The top shower head was not working so had to use the smaller one

  Liked: Perfect location and a wonderful stay! Absolutely loved our stay in Sevilla! The location was perfect — right near everything, with the main attractions, restaurants, shops, and beautiful streets all within easy walking distance. It made exploring the city so convenient. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and everything we needed was there. We had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sevilla!
