A lovely touch of class
Liked: A wonderful setting and a very comfortable place to stay.

Liked: Great atmosphere, but then what's not to like staying in a real medieval castle! Excellent dinner and breakfast. Friendly, helpful receptionist. With a fascinating Romanesque cathedral to visit just down the hill.
Very special Paradore
Liked: Beautiful hotel in restored castle - simply gorgeous. Staff at reception very friendly and attentive. Our room with balcony was very comfortable, wonderful bed and linens, very quiet. We had drinks in bar and ate at restaurant for dinner, no complaints. Absolutely recommend.
Disliked: The staff in dining room were efficient but not particularly friendly - never saw them smile. My only complaint is that if you offer a 10am time slot for breakfast, hotel needs to ensure there remain sufficient food choices - most plates were empty.

Disliked: The dining room lacked atmosphere, it was too bright, too large.and the food was basic. Food tastes and style have changed, this Parador unfortunately hasn't.
