Good
Good hotel with two restaurants excellent service and good location between Barcelona and Andorra
Liked: The room was clean, well located mostly quiet. I also loved the Mesigual restaurant and staff, the quality of the food was amazing and the service was also perfect, friendly helpful and professional staff. The location of the hotel was also perfect for my stay. Close to Solsona but also towards the nature reserve of Sanctuary De Lord, Linya Naves,....
Disliked: The noise at the backcourt of the hotel. Even the waste collection was at 5 am! The messy view from the back court of the hotel. The bathroom was functional but out dated. Otherwise clean and the room got cleaned daily

Disliked: Bathroom no plug in bath and sink, dirty grout, pillow smelt of dog

Liked: Quiet place, on a nice town, the room was very big.
Great stop over or a base to explore the area
Liked: Had a one night stay here as we wanted to re-visit Cabana d'en Geli, an excellent restaurant located approx 15 minutes stroll from the Gran Sol. Pleasantly surprised as the service levels & facilities at the Gran Sol which are excellent; Swimming pool is safe & good for swimming as it has a decent deep side that keeps the children out of the way! Hotel has x3 restaurant's - we utilised menu del dia in the main restaurant which was excellent. We also had breakfast in the more informal restaurant. Good thing here is you pick what you want & pay which keeps the price sensible. Staff were friendly, helpful & polite. English spoken if necessary. Car parking off road both covered & uncovered, safe & well lit. Overall excellent value for money & would stay again.

Please note that the Restaurant Gran Sol is open from 13:00 until 16:00 daily, and the Hamburger Restaurant Mesigual from 08:00 until 00:00 daily. Please note that the both restaurants are closed on Mondays.
