Exceptional
Great and chill experience in the middle of Almeria desert
Liked: The design of the apartments and the area. Really feel the desert. Highly suggested for a longer stay
Disliked: The horseshit smell is... intense:) But it's quite part of the raw experience.
Comfortable and friendly staff
Liked: The apartment was great with huge space, kitchen, spacious bedrooms, A/C. The staff was very friendly and reply quick to any question/request.
Disliked: We were very comfortable, we don't have anythibg we didn't like.
Great Relaxing Stay
Liked: Great location for the desert, Tabernas and within half an hour or so of the airport. The staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. There are BBQs for each lodging and sitting outside was great on the shaded patio. There's also a pool but I was always too exhausted from hiking to make much use of it.
Disliked: An oven would have been great, as would some better utensils for the bbq including a wire brush for cleaning, some tongs for rearranging the wood and some other utensils for your food. I just used what was in the fireplace so not the end of the world. A brush or similar would have been handy to keep the floor and patio clean as it did get dusty, ash from the bbq and droppings from the trees.
Highly recommended place to relax
Liked: Brilliant location where you can completely relax and enjoy the surroundings. The staff are so friendly and the site is very eco friendly. The cabins were extremely clean and very cool.
Disliked: Cannot find anything not to like. Perhaps a kettle would be nice but we used a saucepan.
Experience europe's only desert in a place designed and operating to perfection
Liked: Only once in a while you experience people that really know what they are doing. This family run business is one of them. The beautifully made apartments are within eco-lodges, fully equipped with anything you may need and very comfortable. The lodges are spaced generously on the compound with a maximum of one neighboring apartment per house. A nice secluded patio looks out into the compound toward the very large and beautiful swimming pool, that is fully ecological. Everything here is geared towards quietness, comfort and relaxation. Across the road, there is a superb restaurant for lunch, which is part of the property. The family that owns and run the lodges and restaurant also produce one of the best organic olive oils and wines, vermouths and have their own livestock. Food, lodgings, pool, oils and drinks are being made with utmost care, and to perfection. This is a must visit place.
Disliked: I guess from the above you get there is nothing not to like about this place.
A peaceful retreat in a unique natural setting
Liked: The location is very convenient for visiting the Tabernas Desert and surrounding towns. The property is gated and very secure. It is in a peaceful and natural location. You can park the car right next to the property and the hosts are very helpful and accommodating.
