Liked: What a fantastic place to stay! Azogue Apartments truly has it all. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, spacious, and has a wonderful bedroom where you can completely relax after a day exploring Tarifa. The owner was absolutely lovely — friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. And the location? Simply unbeatable! Right in the heart of Tarifa, tucked away in what we think is the most beautiful little street in town. Step outside and you’re surrounded by charming shops, fantastic restaurants, and lively little bars. And with just a short stroll, you’re standing on the beach! What more could you ask for? Even parking is easy, with convenient options just a short walk away — quite a bonus when staying right in the historic centre.

Disliked: The photos are misleading; they show a bright, sunlit apartment, but in reality, there is no direct sunlight at all. This lack of sun contributes to the extreme humidity and a noticeable smell of mold, which even stayed in our clothes. We also encountered cockroaches; the owner took no action, saying they come from the street. Additionally, the sound insulation is poor as the window is right by the bed, and you can hear everything from the street. Due to these conditions, we spent two nights elsewhere and checked out on the 7th night. Due to these conditions, we spent two nights elsewhere and checked out on the 7th night. Liked: Location is good, central and quiet, Elena the manager was helpfull. The appartment was well equipped, roomy.
Disliked: The photos do not reflect the reality. They are professionaly done but in reality the place is with a rustic vibe and not luxurious as presented. The bathroom, especially the shower was not clean. The bed was in a cave-like structure, pressed right near a cold wall. Not the best place for a bed, especially in March when it's not hot enough to appreciate a chilly bed. Another thing to note, photos are mixed between 2 different appartments. They should be separated, we would not have rented this if we knew the bed sittuation. There was an online check-in and a credit cart security deposit cart verification. The host insisted that it's in case something is broken or stolen. This felt unnecesary, the apartment is not that great... kind of old.

Liked: This is a charming apartment in a great location. It is quiet and comfortable and the hosts are very helpful and attentive. We stayed two nights and did not cook but the apartment was well designed and provided everything we needed. Our host gave us a number of great restaurant recommendations. Communication was excellent.
Disliked: The bed in mounted in a charming niche that most will love but was a bit difficult for two seventy somethings to negotiate.
Perfect stay in the heart of Tarifa
Liked: Very stylish apartment, everything is there, nice equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, comfortable shower and bed. Also a little desk where you can work from. Location is exactly where you want to be, in the heart of the city but still quiet in an alley.
Disliked: Direct daylight is limited in the studio
