  Very comfortable at a reasonable price

  Liked: This hotel was my favorite part of Tarifa! It was very quiet and conveniently located to both the bus station and the ferry port. The decor was beautiful, the kitchen was convenient, and the staff were very kind.

  Disliked: The water in the shower wasn’t piping hot, but it was warm enough.

  A very nice place located in the quieter part of the Tarifa old tow

  Liked: A really nice place with focus and care about the details. Very clean - and also no ants or cocroaches which is very positive (I was bitten by bed bugs at some other place in Tarifa before). It is located in the quieter area of the Tarifa old town, but on top of that, windows isolate sounds very well. I also really like the interior design of this hotel. Bathroom is really nice - I just didnt figure out how to change the water temperature in the shower (should have asked the staff, but enjoyed the temp. as it was). I had the room called Oceano. Pictures on the website match the look of the hotel.

  Disliked: 1) My card was charged 294 euro, instead of booked 249 euro. I addressed issue to the host and it was resolved within the same day. Initially I was told to figure it out directly with the Booking.com, but later on Host check again and took the initiative to refund me the difference. I think mistakes like this should not happen, and if so, it should be more focus to help the customer straight off. I understand that it was typo-mistake on the keyboard and Im happy it was resolved. 2) There is a certain smell in the lobby, which is probably related to the old pipes in the Old Town itself, so I dont think it´s Hotels own issue. It seems to be masked by fragrencies in the lobby. Its noticable only sometimes and didn´t enter the room, so not a big issue in itself.

  Beautiful and authentic decor, great facilities and centrally located with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere

  Liked: Great central location, beautiful decor and friendly hosts. It was exceptionally clean and the kitchen facilities were fantastic. We made good use of the roof terrace.

  Disliked: There was nothing to dislike, being so central can get noisy but that was not a problem for us.

  Fantastic!

  Liked: The place is absolutely lovely, and the hosts, whom we were lucky enough to meet on our last day, are even lovelier. The house truly reflects its owners: comfortable, cosy, welcoming, familiar, and beautifully kept. We had such a lovely stay at Palacio del Viento. It is very central and easy to access, making it a great base for exploring the area. Our only regret is that our stay was far too short! We will definitely be coming back and staying here again. Highly recommended!
