Exceptional
A newly refurbished house with a beautiful sea view, close to amenities
Liked: Very conveniently located for us, the flat provided plenty of space for 3 friends on a sports break. Fantastic view from the top floor balcony and plenty of secure space to dry kit in the back yard with a hose for rinsing,
Disliked: Nada
Liked: Lovely apartment over 3 floors. It is easy walking distance to the beach, but a little further if you want to get to the centre of the old town. Has pretty much everything you want for a short stay. Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Too many messages from the owner before checking in. Way too many, including emails and WhatsApp messages, that it made me feel like they were going to cancel or change or something was going wrong, and they asked for passports and signatures online from every person that was going to be staying there, and then I also had to phone 30 minutes before my arrival (we were driving). It was a lot. After we left, I sent a message to say that we had checked out and thanked them for a lovely stay, and got ZERO reply for 5 days - zero reply after so many messages before we arrived just felt weird. Wifi does not reach the top floor bedroom. It was incredibly windy when we were there, as I believe happens often in Tarifa, so I would suggest investing in some door stoppers to stop doors banging shut (no air con so doors and windows had to be left open in the summer). Just some little changes I think would have made our stay so much better, but it is a lovely apartment.
