Lovely location but would not stay in this apartment again

Liked: The location of the property is excellent.

Disliked: This property has the potential to be very good. There are several issues with the apartment and they were not fixed during our stay, which is very disappointing. The sheets on the bed were dirty. They were stained and there were hairs on the sheets. We were told there are extra sheets in a cabinet upstairs. They were not. Then we were told the sheets were in a cupboard outside on the terrace in a black bag. They were not. They were in an open bag, which was not very hygienic. The smell in the apartment was not good. The dishwasher was rusty and therefore we could not use it. The freezer needs to be defrosted and could not be used. The door on the freezer could not even close. There was no hot water after the second day. We were told to reboot it, which we tried but it did not work. A would strongly suggest leaving a manual in the apartment on how to use items. We brought all of these issues to the owner and although he made suggestions on how to fix these, the suggestions did not work and there was no follow up to check if they did, which was very disappointing. Every day I was contacting him with another problem. It was tiring and an extra stress that I could have done without.
