Liked: I want to start saying that if you can find another place to stay, I would recommend you do. Let this hostel as an emergency last regular option. The location was great because it was literally 5 min walk to the city center. We did not stay in the "hostel" but in the apartment with 4 beds with private entrance, which was looking way better than the hostel itself. The apartment was very clean.
Disliked: I would give the "welcome" to the place a -10 stars. There was absolutely no one in the place when we arrived and the lights were shut down. We thought it was a scam until we gave a phone call, and the owner gave us the instructions to get into a room that was not the one I paid for. After I pointed out which one was my room, he had to come to give me the keys. We were not the only ones in this situation, we meet other 3 couples who thought the same, and I had to help them contact the owner. Wtf... very bad reception system. Also, (not fault of the place) but just a block up the street there is a very bad looking neighborhood, for a second we thought it was there and almost abandoned the mission of finding this place.

Fantastic Hostal in a perfect location
Liked: Lovely welcome by Marie Carmen. Fantastic place to stay to visit Teruel, everything within walking distance. Teruel is a beautiful city, well worth visiting. We stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful historic buildings, lovely places to sit out and enjoy a drink. Plenty of parking close by and a supermarket within a 2 minute walk. From here we visited Albarracin, wow, beautiful place, a absolute must and only about 40 minutes from Teruel. We look forward to returning and would definitely recommend Hostal El Bugar. Thank you for a lovely stay.
