We paid 409 euros for this awful experience. Unbelievable. The only result is to return our money
Liked: There was absolutely nothing that we found vaguely acceptable about this hotel. For the money we paid 409 euros we found everything a total con. It was a disgrace. The room looked shabby, tiny with only enough room for two single beds to be pushed together then one very small bedside table to be put either side. The beds and pillows felt hard and altogether very, very uncomfortable. A disgrace. There was no fridge or safe or water. There was hardly any room to put anything in this tiny room. We couldn’t find any English spoken on the Television. The room was very noisy. We could hear other people turning on and off their water, coughing and people’s footsteps moving about their rooms into the early hours. Needless to say we had little sleep. The shower room was impossible, absolutely tiny. A small shower unit, a sink and toilet squeezed together. Two people could not move in there together. Everything looked old, tiny, uncomfortable and to charge 409 euros for bed and breakfast was nothing that we expected. This hotel should not be allowed to charge this kind of money. We are in our 80s, have travelled widely but never before found such a disgraceful set up and been so taken advantage of. When we arrived there was no one to help us with our cases although we were on the top floor. The girl in reception was young with little English and showed little interest in making us welcome. There was no garage or parking space available within the hotel grounds. We were told to park in the street. This also worried us. My husband has a heart problem and suffered badly from the experience of the night at your hotel. He is now asleep and ill. Luckily tonight and tomorrow’s stops are in Paradors. We cannot for a moment imagine how you had the audacity to charge 409 euros for that room even with breakfast. We certainly didn’t expect what we got. You should be ashamed and certainly refund the money we paid back to us.
Disliked: Please see above to see our thoughts about this hotel that did nothing less than take advantage of us and put us in hazardous health situations. We were happy to pay 409 euros for quality but certainly not for the room given to us at this hotel. We consider we were seriously conned by the hotel into paying 409 euros for such a low quality room we would never have stayed in our wildest dreams. Ever.
Liked: The location of the hotel is close to the center. The room we had was quite big and spacious but one shower was a bit weird and open so water could go out no matter how careful you were, especially considering the pressure of the water.
Overall nice hotel, maybe in need of a refresh in places
