Great stay in convenient location
Liked: Nice, spacious house as shown in the photos. Well-equipped throughout, very clean, and nice and cool on the very warm day when we arrived. Being pet-friendly was a bonus. The location is good, on a quiet street near to the river and the pretty centre of this small town. Communication with the hosts was very good and they provided local recommendations as well.
Cleanliness Issues
Liked: the house is quite spacious with two bedrooms and is conveniently pet-friendly. We appreciated the inclusion of a game room and a fully equipped kitchen. The self check-in process via the lockbox was also seamless and very convenient.
Disliked: However, the negatives unfortunately outweighed the positives and left us quite disappointed. Upon entering, there was a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the house. The level of cleanliness was unacceptable: we found trash under the beds, a significant amount of mold in the bathroom, and ants crawling on the floor. Furthermore, the beds were quite uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. Paying €100 per night for these conditions felt unjustified. Given the lack of maintenance and hygiene, we will not be returning.
