  Disliked: Absolutely horrible experience – Avoid this hotel! The hotel looked NOTHING like the pictures on Booking.com. From the moment we arrived, we were disappointed. The room smelled terrible, the furniture was old and disgusting, and even the wardrobe had that awful old, musty smell. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It genuinely felt like sleeping on a stone floor. And the pillows? Don’t even get me started. They were just as hard as the mattress. One of the worst nights of sleep I’ve ever had. The soundproofing is practically non-existent. The walls are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING happening in the neighbouring rooms. And I mean EVERYTHING: people using the toilet, urinating, passing gas… yes, you can literally hear people farting in the next room! You can also hear all the street noise. It feels like the walls are made of cardboard. To make matters worse, there isn’t even a telephone in the room to contact reception. The facilities are also in terrible condition. The inside of the toilet was yellow, the toilet seat kept slipping, and the sink was broken. Almost everything was defective. The only thing that actually worked properly was the hot water. When I first arrived, there were hairs all over the sink and in the shower. The bathroom clearly hadn't been properly cleaned before our arrival. I reported this to reception and requested that it be cleaned, but they only bothered to clean it the following day. Absolutely unacceptable, especially when you're checking into a supposedly clean hotel room I have stayed in plenty of 2-star and 3-star hotels across the Middle East, Türkiye and Asia, and honestly, the difference in standards is shocking. This experience was beyond disappointing. This hotel is absolutely not worth the money. The pictures are misleading, the room conditions are unacceptable, and the overall experience was horrible. Do yourself a favour: read the reviews carefully and stay somewhere else. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

  Great location with great staff!

  Liked: The location was great and the staff: Israel, Tatiana, Anais and Hafi (not sure of the spelling!) were all wonderful and always served me with a happy smile at breakfast and in the next door restaurant. The cafe/restaurant next door, which is part of the hotel, offers great food at very reasonable prices.

  Disliked: The PILLOWS! Please replace them! Also, although the room was quite comfortable, it was very basic, but a small fridge or kettle/coffee maker would have made a great difference.
