  Great apartment, great location, great host

  Liked: Great apartment. All the rooms and living spaces are a great size and all the furnishings & facilities you could need. The location is brilliant, only a quick walk to the seafront promenade / beach, or a short walk the other way to the centre of Torremolinos. Axel was also very accommodating, attentive and professional.

  Liked: Axel (the contact for the property) was very helpful and responsive: he could not have been better. Property is spacious, well equipped and clean, a home from home. Air conditioning is powerful and effective. Beds were comfortable.. Some things to note to help future guests: - HDMI 3 on the TV has a Google Chromecast, so you can connect the likes of Amazon Prime and Netflix - The third bedroom has it's own air con supply - The pool doesn't open until 11am in the summer months - To the side of the pool is a large lawned area with seven thatched sunshades. There were always sunshades available whatever time of day we went down, so you can relax in bed knowing you don't need to rush downstairs. - No inflatables (other than for infants) or balls allowed in the pool -The most direct route to the beach is via numerous steps, so not suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs, or those with limited mobility. The other option is to use pavements along the road but this is less direct - The property has underground parking, which is great but keep the size of your hire car in mind -The parking space has an electric charger, which needs to be requested in advance if you want to use it for a PHEV or pure electric car

  Liked: Beautiful large apartment in the heart of torremolionos, A short walk to the beach and the town centre, approximately 5 minutes to both. The apartment itself was bright, spacious and was spotless. it had everything we needed for a 10 night stay. The complex is extremely secure and everyone in the surrounding properties was very friendly and welcoming, the pool area is beautiful, and there is plenty of space to lounge in the sun and relax, Loungers were provided by Axel as well as beach towels, Axel has thought of everything to make your holiday one you wouldn't forget, and the views from the two balconies are picturesque, Axel himself is a gentleman, always on hand to answer any questions we had, a excellent host who is extremely friendly but not intrusive, I would, without a doubt recommend this holiday apartment, you'll definitely not regret it, P.s check out the fish and turtles behind the pool down the steps,, so cute 🥰

  The stay was nice. The issue with the security deposit made it a bit frustrating

  Liked: Although the property & furniture is a bit dated, it is well maintained with marble floors & comfortable. It was very clean & had everything that we needed. The host allowed an earlier check-in at a charge of 20 euros. Given that we had a baby it was appreciated as it allowed her to sleep.

  Disliked: Check out time was an issue. Our plane was at 9:30 AM and the host declined an early 6: AM checkout which has never been a problem for us in the past in Spain. This was our 3rd visit to Torremolinos but because the security deposit would only be returned at checkout at 9:00 AM the cash was not returned to us. It was later credited through Booking. com but a commission was taken by both booking & the bank. Canadians travelers beware because Revolut which processes the return security deposit money in Spain does not operate in Canada. You might have to find alternative methods at a cost.

  Lovely stay near many local restaurants, and also close to the beach and shopping

  Liked: We loved the flat which was a comfortable size for our family of 5 (beds for 6). There were 2 large balconies with a seaview, and a lovely big garden with a large pool.

  Disliked: Handy that there was both a dishwasher and washing machine, but I think more cutlery should have been available to avoid starting the dishwasher after each meal. Also I suggest that dishwashing detergent should be supplied for the time the flat is rented out (i e, we booked for 9 nights, but were only given 3 “tablets”).
