Exceptional
Simply great, superb location, great garage or secure outside parking, for me one of the best Paradores to have stayed i
Liked: Superb hotel particularly the rooms in the old building. Close to the centre and had a comfortable bar and restaurant. The food was very good, I had filet steak asked for it rare and it was perfect! The staff were excellent.
Disliked: Nothing
Historic and clean but with issues and not great value for money
Liked: Very well maintained historic Parador set in the old town of Trujillo. Restaurants, bars and historic buildings were all within easy reach. Our room was very good large and comfortable.
Disliked: Parking, we paid an additional amount of €14 per night. This was pretty impractical being down a steep hill from the hotel entrance. Access was via a buzzer to reception to get in and out. often this was slow to be activated. Breakfast was relatively expensive and significantly more expensive than other hotels we stayed in during our trip. Staff were not the most welcoming

Liked: Good parking and great location. Delightful historic building sympathetically restored. Comfortable rooms. Nice to have swimming pool in oppressive heat!

Liked: The hotel was very quiet and clean, plus it was located a few steps away from the town. The room was very comfortable and provided lots of space.
Disliked: The shower entrance was very limited due to the door only opening inwards and not in both directions. And when an individual enters the shower the door hits shelf inside the shower where the towels are placed. So this doesn’t allow for a normal sized person to enter or exit the shower without having to squeeze between the fixed glass shower structure and the narrow door opening.
