    Felt like a hostel

Liked: Quiet place, big outdoor area and the breakfast staff and food is awesome.

Disliked: We could listen the people next door movements, coughing and talking as well as the tunes everytime someone around us opened the faucet. We could also ear the steps when someone walks past our room, dificulting our rest. The sheets were not in good condition but were OK. Some of the facilities listed on the booking as incluided were actually paid and so what we thought was going to be a weekend with a lots of activities was reduced to a lot less.

Very noisy, poor spa experience, although great breakfast

Liked: The staff is very nice and welcoming. Breakfast is great, lot of variety and good quality. This is super nice given there are no other breakfast options nearby.

Disliked: 1. Noise. No soundproofing at all, cardboard walls, meaning you will hear your neighbors’ toilet flushes and coughs right as if those are in your room. Also the hotel is literally next to a major road so you will hear trucks passing by. 2. Emergency lights in rooms are quite bright at night and can’t be turned off. This + noise = terrible sleep. 3. Mosquito traces on walls and ceiling 4. The location is quite remote, but that’s easily visible on the map, so you know what you’re getting. 5. The outdoor swimming pool is quite small and right on the roadside. We didn’t use it because it was cold outside, so can’t say anything about cleanliness. 6. The 75-minute private spa experience is absolutely not worth €20 per person they’re charging, and let me elaborate on that: * No proper shower facilities. There is a cold shower next to the sauna, but it has no temperature control, and no shower gel is provided. Guests are expected to shower before using the sauna, yet the only practical option is to do so in their own rooms. Crucially, this limitation is not communicated in advance. * Impractical layout. The sauna and bubble bath are located in two separate rooms across a corridor. Each requires a key card to enter, meaning you have to walk between them and be careful not to lock yourself out of the sauna. It’s a rather awkward setup for what is advertised as a private spa experience. * No slippers provided. The hotel supplies bathrobes but no slippers, which is particularly inconvenient given that guests need to walk across a corridor between the spa facilities.

People on overnight coach trips would be happy but if you want peace and quiet don't go

Liked: Check in was good. Restaurant okay.

Disliked: Rooms were noisy due to thin walls. Could hear people and television from next room. There was lots of road noise. Bathroom wasn't clean.

A surprise such a top hotel

Liked: We went for dinner to the Restaurant below the hotel, walkingvdown the steps to base if hotel a little confusing suggest a large sign naming restaurant and directions to leave the hotel and walk via exterior however the meal, staff and ambience excellent

Disliked: Perhaps the taxi van could have been directed to park nearer the hitel doors rather than road as we have a large amount of luggage and it appeared no trolly in lobby

    Clean and comfortable stay

Liked: Lovely receptionists who were very welcoming and helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and both were very good. The room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. The property is about 2 km from the Camino, so it was a little off the route, but we had a very pleasant stay and would happily stay again.
