Very good
Liked: free parking on the street
Disliked: this hotel needs full renovation. I would never say it’s 4-star hotel. Basic things were missing (like soap next to sink, hairdryer).
Liked: It's not the first time we stayed here and it won't be the last. The staff is always nice, the rooms are very good and the price is fair.

Liked: Extremely good value, very friendly welcome and staff at breakfast. Large junior suite, quiet (even though they are having major renovations)

Liked: Rooms are very good, staff were very helpful and breakfast excellent. Good location.
Disliked: The hotel had building works on which were advised to us after booking but before we arrived. They were described as ''improvement works will be taking place at the hotels main entrance''. In reality this was an understatement, with extensive works taking place in the whole area in front of the hotel, the reception area and in rooms on the first floor. Works usually started at 8 am and jack hammers were being used in the afternoon when a siesta would have been welcome. We were told the workers were on holiday, they were not, then told they would start work later than 8 am, they did not. The hotel was charging premium prices for the eclipse and in the circumstances they should have offered some discount. We could not cancel or change the booking as it was all paid for upfront.
Perfect stay, great hotel
Liked: The staff is absolutely great and the property is a gem. Our stay was just perfect. I definitely recommend Hotel Ciudad de Valladolid to any traveler.
