Excellent location for viewing total eclipse and very fairly priced

Liked: Breakfast was OK. It was nice to have a cafe/restaurant on site The area outside was popular and useful The price of the food and drinks was very reasonable. The hotel was very reasonably priced too

Disliked: Staff were not very welcoming or helpful at restaurant. It was not clear which menus to use or if it was table service or not. Or if food was even served at this time. Or when to pay. The food was not very good either. Amenities were very basic, no hair dryer a lot of hotel under construction/refurbishment Confusion over my bill. They wanted to charge me again for the stay and also tried to charge us for 4 breakfasts when we had only had two, despite two of the receipts clearly stating duplicate.

Good hotel for single travellers on a short stay

  Liked: Good location, helpful staff

Disliked: It would have been good to have been warned about the construction works at the hotel. Parking was limited although I had a spot.

Liked: Modern hotel with cafeteria and bar. Easy parking and garage if required. Many bars and restaurants in the area within walking distance.

Disliked: Room fittings are showing their age, it needs a refit but OK for a night or two. Room has a desk but no charging points there or at the bedside tables. Needs modernising. Staff were not particularly engaging or welcoming
