Cosy, comfortable and competitive, "C" for yourself
Liked: Excellent locatiion on the edge of town and easy to find from the motorway. The staff were all very helpful as although we arrived ahead of our planned time they made us welcome and made sure that our rooms were made tready asap. The menu may be compact but there are dishes to suit most tastes, tasty and competitively priced. The breakfast buffet had so many items available, all well presented and fresh, that it was difficult to make a choice. I will stay here again when I next visit the area.
Good location
Liked: Convenient stop for one night, with a nice room and a huge car park behind the hotel. It’s in a very industrial area, with lorries coming and going and plenty of lighting in the parking area. There’s also a supermarket nearby for any last-minute essentials.
Disliked: Dinner was disappointing: the fries were cold, and the table wasn’t clean. It took a long time before we were served. Only one staff member was covering cleaning, taking orders and serving food, and was quite unfriendly or tired. Breakfast, however, was acceptable. A bit too expensive for one night with breakfast included
