  Casa Vell was a lovely homely place to access the magical town of Valldemossa

  Liked: A very peaceful location in the town giving excellent access to the mountain paths and the town’s facilities. The bus service to Soller and Palma makes it a great place to use asa base in the mountains.

  Fabulous village, lovely & comfortable house but we missed a sunny spot to sit and chill

  Liked: Claudia met us at the house. We were quite late due to flight delays, but she stayed on there until we arrived.

  Disliked: The courtyard was tiny, and although adequate, the sunshine didn't reach it so there was no sunny place to sit and relax. The village didn't have anywhere either so it meant sitting in lots of cafes, eating cake and drinking coffee! There were roadworks outside the house (8am start with a jackhammer each day) but the workmen were very polite and the work was necessary. Next door's guests were pre-warned, and that might have been a good idea for us. We still would have stayed there but a tip-off would have been welcome. The work should be finished this month (Sept 24).
