  Liked: The owners of the house were very helpful and accommodated us by bringing extra fans, extra sheets, etc. They responded to our queries and requests in a timely manner,

  Disliked: It was very hot at night, which was obviously not the fault of the property. There is no air conditioning, which is in the description, but we still feel the house could be better set up for managing the heat. Shutters for the windows could have helped keeping the heat out, especially in the kitchen. In one bedroom we needed two noisy fans to be able to sleep, and it was still quite stuffy. Additionally: The power in the kitchen went out when the stove was on and a hairdryer was used elsehwere (we could reset the breaker switch in a cupboard). The house relies on a water pump, which two times at night failed - leaving us with no water for 5 and 90 minutes. A cat, not belonging to the house, would come to be fed and slept on the outdoor sofas. Twice we kept it from going into the house. The cat is nice, but members of our family are allergic to cats, and we wish we had known this in advance (we later found a review mentioning the cat).

  Great hosts and great property!

  Liked: Lovely hosts, so helpful and friendly. Always on hand if required. Beautiful home, spacious accommodation, amazing pool and gardens. The local town is really close and has so much character, a great place to visit.

  Absolutely wonderful!

  Liked: The Villa was a home from home, so clean, amazing facilities, the Villa is spacious and extremely comfortable. We stayed for 5 days, I used it as a base for cycling as it is situated on the MA - 10, close to the town. The hosts, Paco and Estelle, could not have been more welcoming and attentive, we will absolutely be staying again!

  Disliked: I honestly cant say anything in this regard! Everything was perfect.. The only thing I would say, and its not a negative, depending on your intentions, what sort of holiday you are having, a car would be ideal given the location, we had a car and it was really useful. The neighbourhood is safe, and very nice, just out of the way a bit.

  Spacious and well equipped villa

  Liked: Fantastic villa in a peaceful location. Spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We appreciated all its facilities: the pool, the games room, the gardens with pool table, the BBQ area, the multiple seating areas and large bedrooms each with its own bathroom (a luxury for a family of four with two teenagers!). The owners Paco and Esther were exceptionally welcoming, helpful and gracious hosts. It was unusually warm at night during our stay (we were told that it usually cools at night) however fans were available in all of the bedrooms. We loved our stay and hope to return!

  Lovely stay at Son Vent

  Liked: Great stay at Son Vent. Very spacious house with everything you could need. Paco and Esther are on hand if you need anything during your stay and are lovely. A cat (residing in the street) may visit the garden. Very tame but will not come near you if you don't like cats. We were happy to see him. Pool is lovely. There are many outside areas to sit. We used the table tennis table (which is in the garden) and particularly enjoyed using the pool table in the evening (in the house) The nearby village (Valldemossa) has some nice restaurants and shops. You will need a car though as it is too far to walk. There's also a rock beach there (the port is closer to the Villa than the restaurants), which is good for snorkelling (has fish). We visited Western Water Park, near Palma - about 30 mins drive away. This was really good. Our kids are 17 and 12 and there were plenty of big slides for them. Overall, we had a great relaxing holiday. I would definitely recommend Son Vent.
