Very good
The Parador was clean comfortable but dated

Disliked: The bed and pillows,very hard
Tired hotel, disappointing breakfast, not value for money
Liked: Staff at breakfast were lovely. The village itself is beautiful and we had a delicious meal at Pinotage across from the hotel. There are great walks from the village but if I were to come back, unfortunately I don't think this hotel offers good value for money.
Disliked: The room was tired, shabby and remnants of a shave from the previous guest was left around the sink. Breakfast was a little disappointing. A meagre offering of 1/3 of a small glass of yoghurt, for example. Hot food could be ordered but was also less than impressive.

Good choice of hotel if you don't want to drive to the ski resort
Liked: 1. Excellent breakfast with a lot of fresh fruit. Cooked breakfast available. 2. Good heated swimming pool. 1/5 indoor, 4/5 outdoor. Long enough to swim but quite narrow. 3. Close to the bus stop for the ski resort. It's a normal bus service and costs 1,10€. Despite it only running about once an hour we never found it full.
A very pleasent stay in the nice winter resort of Arties
Liked: The location, in the middle of the nice Arties village. The sense of ‘brand ownership’ of the hotel staff (the hotel is part of ‘Paradores’, a Spanish hotel group).
Disliked: The electrical plugs of the hotel room could benefit from done upgrades.
