Very good
A beautiful traditional Spanish villa
Liked: We thought the property was beautiful with some stunning features, a very traditional Spanish villa. The hosts were very friendly. The property out the way and quiet near to a local restaurant and a 15 minute walk from local supermarket. The pool was a great size with sun beds. Plenty of room with a huge Spanish kitchen.
Disliked: The host needs to provide a manual as we were British we needed information like local supermarkets, WiFi, TV, taxi and using gate etc. Thankfully we had Spanish friends who could translate. The beds needed changing after 1 week and someone should have come to check on things. There was no kettle to make hot drinks not great as we had no idea how to use the drinks machine. Also they need to consider safety we had to buy bath mats, some of the glasses broke shouldn’t really allow glass by a pool, also by the stream the wood is broken I nearly fell down the hole. Also we had access to the store cupboard but there was a lot of cleaning products in Spanish which could be dangerous for children. They need to consider softer mattresses they were so hard we all struggled to sleep and our backs were sore. I would also make the twin room the double room better for adults. This property is made for families, but bear in mind the 15 minute walk to town is a little hilly you will definitely need a car however parking can be tricky in town. I would consider removing all the old food and drinks etc and just provide the basics maybe a welcome hamper. I think with the right attention to the little things it will be a lovely holiday home. We would consider staying again.
