Exceptional

Disliked: I tried contacting the host before arrival but received no response until the morning of check-in. The message contained instructions for a lockbox where the apartment keys were supposedly stored. Imagine our surprise when we arrived and discovered there was no lockbox at all. We then had to spend time trying to reach the host. Keep in mind that it was already after 5:00 PM, even though check-in was available from 3:00 PM. When we finally got hold of the host, we were told that the apartment was not ready and that we would need to come back later. This was particularly unacceptable given that the temperature outside was over 35°C and we were travelling with suitcases. While we were waiting, someone arrived and informed us that the apartment still needed to be cleaned after the previous guests. The cleaning took only about 20 minutes, which raises serious concerns about how thoroughly it was done. To make matters worse, dirty towels were left in the washing machine, and I am not convinced that the bed sheets had even been changed. The overall level of cleanliness and organization was completely unacceptable. A very disappointing and unpleasant experience.
Liked: Very nice, clean and close to town center.
Disliked: All was ok
Liked: Great location at a great price
Disliked: Bed and sofa bed were not very comfortable, but fine for 1 night. Some oddities - like no outlet in the kitchen for the coffee maker. Again, fine for an overnight add good price.
