Very good
A great place to stay at a very reasonable rate
Liked: You ned to press the Hostal bell outside to open the door, then go up to the 1st floor to reception. The room was very quiet and peaceful. The fan was very effective, even in very hot weather. I adjusted it to a quiet setting for the night. I had my own bathroom. It's more of a b and b rather than a hostal with dorms. The location was great, very central and across the bridge to the Basilica de Pilar, which is worth visiting. There are lots of restaurants across the bridge and a variety of Museums. (Goya and History of Zaragoza re shut currently.). You can get breakfast at a nearby cafe. Buses to and from the airport are nearby, changing at the train station or on another street. (Airport buses don't always run on the times advertised - I think it depends on what flights are there.)
Disliked: There was a slight smell of smoke on arrival, but this didn't seem to be a problem later. I found the room very quiet but had read reviews of it being noisy, perhaps this has changed.
Liked: Nice place to stay, very close to city center, clean and with very helpul staff members. The only inconvinience was the thin walls and you could hear the noise.

Disliked: Overlooking an internal courtyard which meant some noise from neighbours also overlooking.

Liked: good location, good personal but there isn't soundproofing, my window faced the inner courtyard, I couldn't open my window because my neighbours can see me and..I think people in my room before me, they smoked here.
Good location but small and noisy
Liked: Very close to the city centre, near a bus stop and several supermarkets. Room was clean, there were enough sockets, and you're able to do a small handwash in the sink.
Disliked: It was really noisy at night. No one seems to abide by the evening clock set by the hostal & the neighborhood isnt quiet at all either. The room, but especially the bathroom was very small. The shower about fell apart.
