Liked: The hotel is centrally located with friendly staff and parking available. The renovation from factory to hotel has been sympathetically done.
Disliked: Construction in the area makes it a bit difficult to access the hotel. And the construction noise is a bit distracting.
Not worth
Liked: 1. Stuff was welcoming
Disliked: 1. Half of Zaragoza center is now demolished because of road works. Nobody has explained to us how to correctly drive to the hotel through endless closed roads and detours. 2. Air conditioning was working only for heating. Outside was 28 degrees. It was extremely hot in the room
Liked: Good venue, easy to find and get to
Disliked: Price was escalated due to eclipse attracting more visitors to the area.
Liked: To the point, this is a 2 star hotel and judging by the reviews, the rooms vary considerably. My room was a good size, very clean, the bed comfortable, the air con worked, and the water pressure in the shower good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK. Its about a 30 minute walk from the station and 20 minutes into town. The sound proofing between rooms is just OK, and while aware of people in the next rooms, I wasn't disturbed by them. You could only just hear the trains underneath when in the Breakfast room in the basement.
Disliked: Major and extensive roadworks are underway in front of the hotel and not likely to end soon. Dusty when windy. However most of the rooms are at the back of hotel overlooking a large, quiet courtyard. Not much of choice of places to eat nearby, mainly basic bars offering cheap, below average tapas. English is limited so it pays to know some Spanish to understand whats on offer.
