  Liked: Quiet country location but close to town. Close to hiking trails. BEAUTIFUL views. Good food. Nice staff.

  Liked: Great location on top of the hill. Friendly staff and nice rooms.

  Disliked: It smelled a bit too much of cleaning supplies. We went to the restaurant the first night and were told we could not order any food unless both of us would eat a starter, a main and a dessert. We politely declined. Weird policy, given that the restaurant wasn’t even fully booked.

  Staff made it extra special

  Liked: Lovely boutique hotel. Unique design. Stunning location for the view. Great meal and they saved us a perfect table on the night of the eclipse as we were residents even though the restaurant was packed.

  Liked: The view is beautiful and the hôtel is modern.

  Disliked: The rooms are not well isolated so there was a lot of noise from other rooms. Even when a guest showers you hear it loudly. Also the cleaning room service is pathetic as we left the room at 9am and we came back 14h30 after lunch to rest and the room was not done and when asked they say that the cleaning person left already. And didn’t have time to clean our room. For a hotel at 350 a night you expect the rooms to be cleaned everyday, no matter what time you leave the room…which in our case was not even that late.

  No sé si repetiremos. Almenos, no a este precio. Si volvemos, será para saludar a Amparo

  Liked: El hotel (bajo nuestro punto de vista) no está a la altura de este precio. La habitación está correcta, muy limpia, y la cama comodísima (toallas y sábanas de alta calidad). En cuanto al personal, Amparo fue fantástica. Nos envió los horarios del autobús, siempre ha estado muy atenta, nos ha saludado todo el rato… simpatiquísima. La ubicación, es espectacular. Las vistas desde la terracita son inmejorables. Sin embargo, el restaurante impide disfrutarlas con tranquilidad. Ruido, coches… sabíamos que sería así y no vamos a quejarnos de ello porque es lo mínimo teniendo en cuenta que hay un restaurante debajo del hotel. Para bajar a Zarautz playa/núcleo hay un paseo de unos 40’, bajando por las escaleras cerca de los acantilados. Y merece mucho la pena.

  Disliked: No está a la altura del precio. La ducha pierde agua, el suelo estaba ligeramente levantado, la ventana nos daba al parking (sin esto estar especificado en ningún sitio al reservar) y no está bien aislada acusticamente (se escucha la gente del bar de abajo). El hotel en general está regulín (teniendo en cuenta el precio). La entrada está chulísima, pero a medida que vas entrando va estando más pocho (humedades, partes no renovadas, telarañas, el salón de hace unos cuantos años… mejorable. Por el precio de la habitación, el servicio debería ser mucho mejor. El desayuno, pasable, pero con MUCHO margen de mejora. No hay nada malo, pero se puede mejorar. Oferta justa, la Nutella vacía, un tostador no funciona, la tortilla regulera, el bacon hecho de hace rato… bueno… detalles que esperas que estén a la altura (repito, teniendo en cuenta que la noche nos salía a +300€). La ubicación, es espectacular. Las vistas desde la terracita son inmejorables. Sin embargo, el restaurante impide disfrutarlas con tranquilidad.   Excellent little hotel with modern facilities

  Liked: Clean modern with helpful receptionist, fabulous views and nice terrace outside to eat breakfast and evening meal

  Disliked: It was up a very steep hill so making access to the beach quite tiring
