Liked: Good beds, horrible airconditioning!!!
Disliked: We arrived later, it was very warm in the room. I sent them a message asking to turn it on. They did. 2 hours later they turned it off while it was still warm inside. They did not want to turn it on again even though I messaged them at 3am (03:00) because I could not sleep. They did not care. Actually horrible service for a hotel
Liked: Walking distance to some historical sites
Disliked: Very basic room — bed, desk (no chair) A/C cannot be controlled in the room and was not cool
Liked: Friendly staff sitting by the open fire even though they used palettes instead of real wood. The staff made us feel welcome and we ordered pizza which they arranged for us as they didn't do dinner.
Disliked: The location is not close to the centre approx 15-20 mins walk. The hotel felt like a dormitory and it was not heated well. We had to sleep with our jackets on top of the sheets as there were no spare blankets. The room itself was big enough however it was in bad need of maintenance, see photos attached.
Great place to stay
Liked: I have nothing to complain about regarding the place. I paid about £150 for one night and, compared to other citys, I found it expensive. The hotel doesn’t offer anything special to justify this price; however, I understand that this may be because the place is small and there are limited accommodation options in the town. The receptionist who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 15–20 minute walk from the city centre and is very close to the national bus station. Very comfortable mattress and pillow. I recommend staying here.
Disliked: I think the shower enclosure should be improved. As it is now, it makes a lot of mess while showering, and by the end the bathroom floor is very wet.
