Fabulous
Great value, excellent location, and a perfect spot for a fun group ski trip
Liked: Great location just a couple of minutes’ walk from the ski lifts and nearby bars. The hotel was very reasonably priced, with good-sized rooms and comfortable beds. The boot locker for ski gear was especially useful. The food was good, the bar area had a nice atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Disliked: Nothing major to complain about—overall we had a great stay. The only minor downside was that there was no fridge or tea/coffee facilities in the room.
Liked: The hotel was in a great location, 5 min walk to the slopes and shops. The best bit was the food, it was honestly amazing, the best buffet food I have ever had, breakfast and dinner with so much choice and different meats cooked to order every night on the grill. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly.
Disliked: The room was very hot. We realised on the 2nd day that we were able to turn off the radiators in the room and in the bathroom though and we were also able to open the window so this was okay. The dinner didn't start until 7:30pm which I thought was really late. I have a 6 year old who was up early for ski school every morning and her normal bedtime is 7:30pm at home. Of course on holiday she can stay up later but she was really tired after skiing all day and a 7:30pm dinner meant she wasn't asleep until 9pm at the earliest. which really didn't work for us. It meant that I had to buy her dinner out and put her to bed and then go down to dinner by myself when she was asleep after the rest of my family ate so they could sit with her while went down to eat. This was obviously a little disappointing as it meant we couldn't eat together but it was so cheap to upgrade from breakfast only to half board that it wasn't the end of the world but just something to bear in mind if visiting with young children. Other than that no complaints, the place was great and I highly recommend.
Liked: Everything except below...
Disliked: No bath in the room.
great location, great food
Liked: Great staff... very friendly and helpful..., Hotel is very close to the lifts. Breakfast and dinner was superb. The restaurant decoration is not so fancy but quite good for a three star hotel. Food quality and variety was beyond our expectations.
Disliked: nothing
Disappointing
Disliked: Staff were not helpful at all.
In all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel
Liked: The room was simple but comfortable, 5mn walk (up) to the piste (via a tunnel). We had a locker for out material. The hotel has a a (small) parking. The staff was very helfpful and kind to our 6 y old.
Disliked: It was too hot in the room (but i think it is the case in most places we visited) and there was not water available. Easily fixed by going to the shop. There is also no fridge or kettle in the room and we really missed the comfort of a hot drink after a day of ski.
