  Liked: Great location. You can ski out and ski back in; on the way back you just need to take the red slope number 21. The Hinterseer will be on your right before reaching the end of the slope. If you prefer not to ski this slope or choose another route, it’s about a 5-minute walk after getting off the main gondola. However, because of the incline, walking with skis can be a bit challenging. The same challenge exists when returning in the evening after going out, but the comfort, cleanliness, atmosphere, and the ski-in/ski-out convenience make you forget about the uphill walk. Experiencing Ernst Hinterseer’s skiing legacy while staying here is also a special touch. The people were very kind. If I come back, this would definitely be my choice again.

  Disliked: I would have preferred a flat route for the way back. Otherwise, everything was great.

  Going back again. The owners were one of the most helpful and friendly people in the world

  Liked: The owners treated us like locals and very friendly and helpful. We felt like part of the family. The view was as advertised, the hertiage and history of the place was fully on displayed. The staff was friendly. The ski room was very well facilitated, every equipement was dry the next day. Even though the bathrooms were abit outdated, it was maintained well and decorated nicely that makes you enjoy the old style. The rooms were exceptional with plenty of spaces and heating.

  Disliked: Even though the bathrooms were abit outdated, it was maintained well and decorated nicely that makes you enjoy the old style. Not enough snow, so they closed the run and we could only ski out and not ski in directly. Not the hotel's issue.
