  Liked: Great location, just next to the railway station and nearby the town centre. Small room, small TV and microscopic desk, but clean bathroom and bed. It was honest quality vs. price.

  Unable to access our room on the first night, followed by a disappointing lack of support or empathy

  Disliked: A very disappointing experience at Hotel Gisela. I was travelling with my parents and, due to train delays, we arrived late in Kufstein. I sent a message notifying the hotel of the delay and our estimated arrival time, but when we arrived, we could not get inside. We were unable to access the room we had booked and ended up spending the night at the train station, which was exhausting and extremely uncomfortable. We only managed to enter the hotel the following morning and stayed for the next night. My complaint therefore concerns the first night, when we were unable to use the accommodation we had paid for. What disappointed me most was how the hotel handled the situation. When I requested a discount or a refund for the unused night, the receptionist told me she had spoken to the manager, who had refused. We did not even receive a message from the hotel apologising for the inconvenience. I understand that reception may have limited opening hours, but I expected clearer communication about what to do in the event of a delay and, above all, a more considerate response afterwards. The lack of empathy and willingness to find a solution left a very negative impression of our stay.

  Excellent stay Thank you

  Liked: Nice clean rooms. Excellent location, opposite the railway station but you did not hear a train. Excellent breakfast buffet and really nice and friendly staff. Very good value for clean, tidy room with free WiFi.
