Fabulous
Liked: Two positives stood out: 1. The staff were super. The ladies on reception took time to show me the best places to go hiking. Thanks to them, I had two great days in the mountains. 2. The "cafe und kuchen" in the afternoon was an unexpected treat. Fantastic to get back after a day walking and much delicious cakes.
Disliked: A minor point, it would have been nice to have coffee-making facilities in the room.
Great location
Liked: Very close to the centre of town. Room spacious and clean. Balcony with a great view. Breakfast was really good.
Disliked: Time of year meant not many places were open. We tried to book the hotel's restaurant but was told it was fully booked. We were with my 92 year old mother so asked the bar staff for something from their menu, we were told they had to ask the restaurant manager. He came and said he could provide some soup, which he did ( tasted lovely) and we were permittes to take this to her room. We did feel an inconvenience and the barmaid wasn't particularly warm or courteous. Language was definitely a barrier in the bar. On the second evening we asked for some regular black tea ie breakfast ( not herbal or Earl Grey) to which the barmaid couldn't find. I asked for the milk and water as again it was for my mum and said I probably had a tea bag I could use.. she said 'it's not free' before I had chance to say I was happy to pay, so I paid 5 euros for hot water and a splash of milk. The bar wasn't manned by anyone in particular, the waitresses just came when called. Reception staff were lovely. Waiting staff not so much. Hotel was very warm. No concierge. No kettle or coffee making in room. Feels really impersonal. Wanted a cozy Austrian vibe for our first visit to the country, definitely wasn't that.
Generally very good
Liked: Great hotel. Comfortable parking. Kind and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast.
Disliked: I wish the employee on breakfast would informed me that they do egg omelette by order. I’ve seen waiters serving it but nobody talked to me and didn’t offer personally. I realised it only the last day.

Liked: The location was perfect. Comfortable bed and nicely equipped bathroom with good toiletries. Towel warmer was a nice addition and the bathrobes.
Disliked: Husband wished he had a bidet in the bathroom.
