Good hotel - go early for breakfast

Liked: It seemed to be quite new as it was in very good condition. The bathroom was great but it could benefit from a shelf in the shower because there was nowhere to put soap or shampoo. Maybe put in more towel hooks too. The young lad that checked us in was great but he needed some help during breakfast.

Disliked: Checking in was not clear. There was a large group of cyclists who thought they were the only guests and told us to go away because they had the whole hotel!!!! Breakfast was terrible because this large group of cyclists ate and drank everything and took up all tables. The guy was trying his best yo clear tables and restock but was on his own. Eventually he seated us in their kitchen/diner and made us some eggs and lattes. (Thank you for doing your best for us). This hotel needs to rethink their abilities when they are fully booked - get more staff during breakfast!!!

Liked: The location for skiers is second to none. Proper ski-in ski-out, at least for intermediate skiers. Beginners may have to carry the skies a bit. But hard to find better location in Sölden

    Not worth the price

Liked: The place is very clean and well-maintened. The staff was friendly.

Disliked: Room with no balcony, next to a very noisy elevator shaft. Breakfast was just OK, bread was not fresh. The location is definitely not ski in ski out, there is no direct access to the slopes. To ski out you have to either walk for 5 minutes to the end of the street which runs adjacent to the slope or trek through piles of snow and mud to get to the slope below the street level. „Ski in” is similar - you have to make your way down an ungroomed slope above the house to street level. No restaurant on premises despite the listing on Booking stating it is open from October to April, so you are reliant to walking downhill for 20 mins to the closest restaurant. Location is very remote, and the way to and from the place is a true hike.

Great stay, helpful staff, and delicious breakfast

Liked: Pretty much everything but the price.

Disliked: Seemed expensive but it was also my first time skiing in Austria and I didn’t know what to expect.
