  Liked: It was clean. The garden was large. There was free use of the car charger. The owner was friendly and flexible with the dates when we ran into an issue.

  Disliked: It felt very much like an Airbnb. The apartment was part of the owners' private house. If you like Airbnb then it's probably great. It's not my thing. The kitchen was too small for two people to be in there at once. There was no freezer so no possibility to quickly chill a bottle of wine. There was no airco. We paid 233 euros per night which we felt was too much for this type of apartment at this location.

  Amazing place with a great host

  Liked: This was an amazing place, among the best we have ever booked on booking. First of all, Alexander is super friendly and accommodating. If we needed something we could always ask him. We were in Velden to take part in a bike race and he let us stay the whole day of check-out such that we could still take a shower, eat and pack our stuff after the finish. The appartment itself is great: lots of space, very clean and modern, large comfy double-bed, big well-equipped bathroom (including shampoo, soap, towels, etc), and with a modern kitchen that has everything you need to cook (including delicious olive oil from own production!). Finally, the location is just perfect, right in the middle of Velden, walking distance to the lake, but still a quiet and green environment in the backyard of a bigger villa. Highly recommended!
