  Not great. We'd have forgiven the problems if they'd got back to us and offered some recompense

  Liked: The location is very central - which is of course convenient although it does mean that rooms on one side of the building are above a street with bars open at night.

  Disliked: The room hadn't been cleaned properly (crumbs and hairs in the bed), and there was also an unpleasant sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The smell meant we could choose between shutting the window to keep the street noise out, or opening it for some fresh air. These problems meant it wasn't a particularly enjoyable stay, especially for the price we paid of around 100€. We emailed the property about this, requesting at least a partial refund, but a month later, still have had no response. I have waited until now to leave a review, because I would have given a more positive comment if they had got back to us. There are several other reviews complaining about the same things, with replies from the property saying they are doing everything they can to fix them, but if they don't even answer emails then it doesn't feel like they really mean it. I don't very often leave negative reviews but there you go.

  Liked: Location. What u get for your money.

  Disliked: Its Not posible to scale down Volume on TV. Walking in Apartment makes enorm amount of noise (Sound insulation Material needed)

  If the blind issue is fixed, it is a good place to stay, location is perfect

  Liked: Location is amazing, we could walk all around the town. Check in and bike storages very good.

  Disliked: Shower is very small, my husband almost could move inside the shower. Another negative point is the the blind at the room window doesn’t close completely and let light come inside the room the whole night. Also we couldn’t figure out how to get coffee out of the coffee machine.

  Acceptable for one night, but the confusing automated procedures affected the experience

  Liked: The room was clean enough, although quite basic. For one night, it was perfectly manageable. The bed was comfortable, which was definitely a positive. If you are lucky, you may also get a room overlooking the beautiful Lederergasse, with its famous hanging umbrellas, which create a very pleasant and charming atmosphere.

  Disliked: The automated check-in process without any staff assistance is, in our opinion, a major weakness. They would make a much better impression by having a person available to welcome and assist guests. The whole process is unnecessarily complicated and confusing. The check-out is also unclear. There is a box at the exit where you are supposed to leave the key cards, but then the automated system asks for them again. It is not clear whether all the cards belonging to the family should be returned through the system or whether only the card of the person who made the booking should be returned, with the others left in the box. The check-in itself is similarly confusing. The receipt provided by the system contains an incorrect Wi-Fi password, which is a small detail but also says a lot about attention to detail and customer care. In fact, we met other guests who were also asking if we knew the correct Wi-Fi password. Overall, the stay was acceptable for one night, but the automated and confusing procedures significantly affected the experience.

  Disappointing

  Liked: Location

  Disliked: The room was exactly on the street, ground floor beside bars, table of a bar aside of the window, couldn't sleep all night and our train was early morning.

  Disliked: More of a hostel experience. No staff on site.No lift to upper floors. Air conditioning unit leaked water into the room. Otherwise, beds were comfortable and the price was very competitive.
