We liked Antwerp but would look for alternative apartment another time

Liked: Location was fairly central, about 10/12 minute walk to Grote Markt. Apartment was large and generally well equipped. Bakery on the corner and supermarket nearby. Plenty of choices for eating out.

Disliked: Journey by taxi from station twice as far as usual due to major roadworks. Noisy street and noisy neighbours well after 11pm. Front door handle was broken for two days. Bins in entrance hall overflowing and smelly from arrival on Friday until put out on Tuesday for Wednesday collection at about 4.30am. Only one towel each provided, no hand towel and none in the toilet.

Liked: Everything was perfect! We really loved the house — it was bright, clean, and very spacious. The balcony was a great bonus and made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was excellent, and everything met (and even exceeded) our expectations. Highly recommended!

Disliked: Facilities like heating, lift are quite poor and I would avoid staying there with kids.
