  Great location, comfortable stay, minor issues resulting from the age of the property

  Liked: Room was clean, comfortable, warm, and well insulated from noise. Excellent location. Good quality breakfast.

  Disliked: I stayed there in late October, during the low season. Service was somewhat inconsistent, likely reflecting reduced staffing levels. Across five breakfast mornings, the experience varied considerably, ranging from attentive and professional to less polished and occasionally disorganised. The hotel is an older property and appears to be in the process of gradually updating its interiors and infrastructure. Unfortunately, we seem to have been assigned one of the older rooms. Some details felt dated, including a thermostat that did not control the heating and a shower head that looked like a temporary replacement. We also noticed an unusually noticeable number of fruit flies at breakfast each morning. We never identified the cause, but it may be another consequence of operating an older building.

  Loved this hotel and its great location. Very beautiful town center

  Liked: We loved the location in the Old Town Center. The parking garage was accessible from the hotel elevator. Dinner at the restaurant was great.

  Disliked: The bathroom was huge but the shower was SO small. I did get a good laugh watching my husband try to shower.

  It was brilliant but don't arrive by car on a Saturday, pity many of the museums were closed on Mon!

  Liked: Perfect location, with under ground public car park connected by lift to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very comfortable. A most enjoyable stay.

  Disliked: I am sure there were but I didn't notice anything significant - it is a large hotel with many comings and goings

  Liked: *Positive Points:* - *Spacious room:* The room was very spacious and comfortable. - *Location:* Quite well located, with easy access to the city centre. - *Decoration:* The hotel is attractive, with tasteful and pleasant decor. - *Breakfast:* Although expensive and with a somewhat limited selection, the food was excellent and clearly of high quality. - *Bathroom:* Well-designed and pleasant, although spacious. - *Staff:* The staff were very friendly and polite.

  Disliked: *Negative Points:* - *Soundproofing:* Despite the central location, the room was poorly soundproofed, and outside noise was quite noticeable. - *Insect bites:* I was bitten three times by what appeared to be mosquitoes or other insects during my stay, which was unusual for me. - *Service:* Although the staff were very friendly, I had to repeat certain requests up to three times. On some occasions, I was told that something had been taken care of when it actually hadn't. This became quite frustrating. - *Phone responsiveness:* It was very difficult to reach the staff by phone, as calls often went unanswered. - *Price:* The hotel was relatively expensive for the overall experience, although this might have been due to the period of our stay.

Good to know

Please note that the property address is not always recognized by GPS systems. To reach the entrance of the hotel, please introduce Eiermarkt as your final destination. Enter the 'INDIGO' underground public car park with direct access to the hotel through parking level -1.

Please note that when the occupancy in the room is above 2 guests, the 3rd and 4th people will sleep in a rollaway bed. Children younger then 12 years have free breakfast if accompanied by 1 Paying Adult Breakfast for children between 12-17 is €27 per child.

Please inform Hilton Antwerp Old Town during the booking process if you are coming with one or more children.

Please note that the non-smoking policy applies to both traditional cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

Pets are only allowed on request, a charge of 50 euro per stay will be applicable.
