  Large rooms but they charge for every little extra. Breakfast very very poor

  Liked: Okay location near to central station but a bit far from the old town. Rooms very large.

  Disliked: Parking costly, all extras seemed chargeable. No complimentary water in the room just a bottle that had to be paid for at €6. Use of pool and gym was again chargeable. Bar a bit too posh for its own good with no draft beer. Breakfast at €25 was one of the worst I’ve seen, and that includes budget hotels.

  Liked: The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the hotel is very close to numerous restaurants, stores, the Antwerp Centraal train station and Rooseveltplaats which is a station for flixbus and flibco. The rooms are clean and have a very nice vibe. Overall 10/10 experience

  Liked: Great location, fantastic staff very helpful with costumer service. My initial room had a WiFi issue and they very promptly upgrade me to a better room. Very kind. Good breakfast. As a woman travelling alone felt very safe and comfortable. Had hair drier in the room.

  Nice room...but

  Liked: Great location near Centraal Station. Nice room and friendly staff. Very comfy bed.

  Disliked: Our room was spacious and otherwise clean but the carpet was really dirty in a couple of areas. Seemed like an unduccessful attempt was made to clean it. We kept our shoes on rather than walk barefoot.

Guests traveling by car are kindly suggested to enter the following address into their GPS to reach the entrance of the hotel: Appelmansstraat 10, 2018 Antwerp. Please note that due to construction work in the city there is an alternative route to the hotel.

From Brussels - E19 or A12 to Antwerp From Ghent - E17 to Antwerp - Follow direction Breda ( Netherlands). On the ring road around the city take exit 3 ‘Borgerhout’. - At the traffic lights turn left ( N184, Plantin & Moretuslei). - Continue the N184 until after the second railway bridge and continue to the next intersection (central park). Turn right in Quinten Matsijslei. - Continue on Quinten Matsijslei and turn right in Korte Herentalsestraat (4th. street on the right hand side). - Continue until the end of Korte Herentalsestraat (T-intersection) and turn left into Lange Herentalsestraat which changes into Appelmansstraat. - The parking entrance and the Hyllit Hotel is located at 1640 ft on the left hand side.

From Hasselt - E313 to Antwerp From Eindhoven - E34 to Antwerp - Follow the E 313/ E34 to take exit 17 ‘Borgerhout/Antwerpen Centrum’ on your left-hand side. - At the traffic lights turn left towards ‘Centrum’, at the second intersection, turn right ( N184 Plantin & Moretuslei). - Continue the N184 until after the second railway bridge and continue to the next intersection (central park). Opening hours of swimming pool is Monday till Sunday from 7 am till 9 pm.

For the use of the swimming pool and/or fitness we ask a supplement of € 7,00 per day per person.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
