  A wonderful day in Antwerp!

  Liked: I loved everything about the hotel! It was clean, modern, beautifully designed and conveniently located. There’s an underground car park and a petrol station nearby, which is especially convenient if you’re travelling by car.

  Disliked: I didn’t like the arrogant attitude of the reception staff and one of the bartenders at the bar.

  Not great at all

  Liked: The location was fine

  Disliked: Unfortunately our stay didn’t live up to expectations. On our first morning, one of us woke up with an insect bite on the face, leaving a large red mark. The next morning, the same person had been bitten again, this time on the earlobe. Being bitten two nights in a row suggests a problem with the room that needs attention. The bed was also far too soft, and neither of us found it comfortable, so we didn’t sleep well during our stay. The parking situation was frustrating. When we arrived on a cold and rainy night, we asked about parking at the back of the hotel building, and staff told us to scan a QR code. Only after filling in all our details and paying did we discover this was for a partner car park about a 8-minute walk away, not the one below the hotel. Nobody mentioned that there were two options: one directly below the hotel and one further away. When we raised it, we were told the partner car park was discounted but the difference was only €0.50!! We should have been given clear information so we could choose for ourselves, and the explanation felt disingenuous. Also, the hair dryer was faulty in one of our rooms. We hope the hotel looks into the insect issue and is more upfront with guests about parking in future.

  Awesome hotel located in a cool area

  Liked: The property is very fun and is a great place to stay with kids. We loved the location, it is surrounded by lots of green areas with different playgrounds and it feels very safe. All the different tourist attractions are within walking distance and if you aren’t able to walk, the tram stops right across from the hotel. It was very easy to locate parking upon our arrival. The area is filled with cafes and restaurants. The rooms were very minimalistic and clean, the beds are comfortable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we often enjoyed drinks in the afternoon, in the different fun seating areas, both inside and outside. The staff were all very kind and helpful.

  fun place to stay

  Liked: bathroom was great. shower especially. it’s a fun / cosy / good feel place overall. the location is nice cause I love being in antwerp south. but it is a bit far from the central / touristy area. again, lovely fact for me but maybe not a good one for the others. clean, neat and comfy room.

  Disliked: no fridge. no drawer, nothing to keep clothes in. room is spacey enough but they preferred not to have it.
