  Wonderful apartment in the center of Antwerp

  Liked: Really nice apartment in the center of town, yet not in the tourist hassle. Beautiful building and room, tastefully decorated, comfy and spotlessly clean. Als great communication with the hosts. Would definitely return.

  Disliked: We had room Camille. Perfect room, only 1 small nag was that it is on the streetside and quite noisy from the cars driving over the cobblestones.

  Liked: Our room was Josephine, on the upper ground floor, i.e. only a short staircase and wide enough to climb with bulky luggage. It might have once been a waiting room or fancy reception, it has a magnificent ceiling. The room is big enough for two - just. We liked the kettle being available for tea making. The bathroom and toilet is 13 steps down in the basement, below the room, it's quite spatious, there is a large shower. Despite being in the centre, the room is quiet. There is a convenient option of leaving your bags till later on the day of departure.

  Disliked: What is palpably missing: a handrail on the way down to the bathroom. Particularly that if you want to use the kettle, you need to bring the water up! Other small practical things that I personally missed: a toothmug; a shelf in the shower - which is very slippery, by the way - to put your soap on; a mirror - even just a small one - in the room itself; finally: the room was a bit soulless with white walls everywhere and nothing apart from the impressive ceiling to put your eye on.

  Liked: Excellent location, close to centre and transport but not super busy or noisy. Our room was comfortable with interesting design and excellent bathroom facilities.

  Disliked: The noise travelled from the stairwell but this wasn't a problem as it didn't seem to be busy and we were out and about a lot.

  Liked: Owner was very helpful with information and keeping in touch. Well located and well appointed.

  Disliked: There was no handrail for the stairs which we found very steep as older persons.
