    Not a pleasant experience

    Liked: Very central location.

Disliked: Not really clean (dirty floors, sink was full of other people's hair when we arrived, sheets had stains, shower covered in lime scale). Also very noisy, which can be expected from the bars next door of course, but it was surprising that you also were able to hear everything from the other apartments. It was hard to sleep at night, both because of the noise and because of the bed, which was quite worn out and squeaky. The front door seemed really unsafe (there was a hole next to the lock). In the bathroom, the curtains were too small for the window and the window looked out onto two bars and their terraces. So especially at night, anybody on the terace was able to see into the bathroom. We contacted booking.com about these things upon arrival and neither the platform nor the host reacted until our last day right before check out. All in all, not a pleasant experience.

    Average experience in the center

Liked: Location is next to the center. Room is big enough. There is even first aid bag which helped me a lot!

Disliked: Since it is in the center, there is a lot of noice till 3-4 a.m. Stairs are to narrow to carry luggage. There is no sandal. There was a coffee, but not tea.

Liked: Very friendly hosts, excellent communication, nice apartment and a lovely cafe in the street

Disliked: There's a lot going on on the street on friday night, so on the weekend it's not a location for the early nighters. But on thursday it was fine.

Liked: The bed is comfortable and the location is very central.

Disliked: The apartment is located on a bar street, some bars are open until 4am. Needless to say it can be loud at night. Equipment in the apartment is minimal.

An excellent choice for anyone looking to explore Antwerp while enjoying the charm of the city!

Liked: The location of the property is just perfect – it's right in the city centre, within easy reach of all the main sightseeing attractions in Antwerp, while also being relatively close to Antwerp Central Station. The apartment is very clean, cosy, and equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay, from a coffee machine to a flawless Wi-Fi connection. The hosts are also very friendly and respond quickly to any questions you may have.

Disliked: It did not affect my overall satisfaction with the property – its many advantages definitely outweigh this minor drawback – but those planning a longer stay in the city might appreciate having a small microwave or an oven. Everyone seems to complain about the narrow staircase, but that's something you can expect in almost any historic building in Belgium – it's simply part of the charm. So it's worth weighing the pros and cons: staying in an atmospheric, authentic building or sacrificing the character in favour of a more comfortable entrance.
