Good
Convenient, the host was very gracious, we were in Knokke for a surgery and it allowed us to be independent
Liked: Excellent location, easy walk from the train /bus. Easy access to groceries and restaurants. Close to lovely walking paths.
Disliked: It might have been tight space for 4, but for the 2 of us it was great. I would have appreciated a sofa as seating was individual chairs. On the other hand, it does encourage one to get outside and enjoy the day!
Liked: Great apartment in a brilliant location
Disliked: A sofa rather than two chairs would have been nicer.
Superb
Superb
From receiving the key to giving it back, just enjoyable
Liked: Central Position Clean Good size for 2 people Fully Automatic Key distribution
Disliked: The need to pay a deposit wasn’t known to me beforehand. Not necessarily the owner’s fault, I’m sure it’s noted somewhere, and I am just too incompetent to read my own emails for a week straight. Regardless of my own inability to keep in touch, the apartment was ready, and the issue was resolved in less than 10 minutes. But, a red glowing info about the deposit could be helpful to people like me.
We liked the location, but next time I would get a bigger apartment with permission to control the heating
Liked: It was clean and well located. Plenty of crockery and kitchen stuff.
Disliked: The main thing was the heating. it was 2 deg C outside and the floor and walls were cold, and draughts. There were no instructions how to modify the heating, in fact it said you would get a bill if you increased the heating. However we could not modify the heating because there was a PIN. So we kept our sweaters on in the apartment. There were messages such as don’t do this, don’t do that, so we didn’t feel particularly welcome.
